A Free Office Hours Callout
We do not charge for call outs within normal office hours, as
this is included within our standard monthly charge. Our normal
office hours are 09:00-13:00 and 16:00-19:00 Monday to Friday,
and 09:00-13:00 Saturday.
24 Hour Call Out
We can provide a 24-hour call-out service if required. Please
contact us for further details.
Meet and Greet
Some guests require help finding their holiday home, particularly
if it is their first visit to Italy. We can meet your guests either
at the airport or locally, show them to their holiday home, and
also give them a guided tour of the local area and facilities
if they feel they need it.
Welcome Pack
We can provide welcome packs to your specification, anything from
the absolute basics to a fully stocked larder! We can also provide
hampers of local produce, either on arrival or as a souvenir for
guests to take home. (We can also provide information on local
attractions, and up to date lists of the many festivals throughout
the holiday season.)
Laundry
Some owners choose to supply their own bed linen and towels, which
we can either wash on site or take away to a high quality commercial
laundry. Alternatively, many owners find it easier to rent all
of their household linen and towels, particularly since each property
must have several complete sets to accommodate weekly changeovers.
Baby Sitting
We know that the great majority of guests have chosen Italy because
it is ideal for family holidays, however even the fondest parents
relish the idea of a candlelit dinner in one of the many romantic
local restaurants. We have on our books many responsible, reliable
and family oriented baby sitters.
Taxis and Airport Pickup
Obviously we can organize taxi services whenever your guests need
them, but beyond that we can provide airport pickups, which is
particularly useful when members of a party arrive and leave at
different times. We track flight arrival times on line for all
flights in and out of the region’s airports.
Guided Tours and Special Interest
We can take guests on organized tours of the region, using our
own knowledgeable local guides and drivers. We can carry up to
fifteen people (plus guide and driver) in our minibuses. We can
organize special interest holidays and events for your guests.
Obviously we can arrange for prominent local chefs to cook for
you or run cookery classes for your guests based on local produce
and recipes. We can arrange wine tours and tastings, either at
your house or at one of the many local enotecas. We can call on
local artists to run painting masterclasses, and organize tours
concentrating on the local flora.
And finally, we can put together themed events organized around
the numerous local festivals.
Cleaning
We are experienced in providing a whole range of cleaning services.
Apart from regular cleaning and dealing with client changeovers,
we carry out beginning and end of season deep cleans, clean up
after construction and restoration work, and extra cleaning when
required for emergencies and special occasions. We can launder
and replace all your linen, either using on-site washing facilities
or a commercial laundry. We can use cleaning equipment from the
house if suitable or alternatively supply our own.
We can also clean windows and external areas
on a regular basis.
Garden Maintenance
We are very aware that a tidy and attractive garden can be one
of the biggest “selling points” for any property.
We have a team of local gardeners who have many years’ experience
in planting and maintaining gardens in the area, the upkeep of
vegetable gardens, fruit orchards and olive groves, and the maintenance
of fences, gates and boundaries. We can provide advice on the
choice of plants, shrubs and trees for your garden, and maintain
them throughout the year. If required we can call on the knowledge
of horticulturists from The Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew who
specialize in the flora of the area.
Pool Maintenance
A swimming pool is a very desirable addition to a property, particularly
if the property is available as holiday accommodation: but pools
can require a considerable amount of time consuming maintenance
all year round if they are to function properly. We can carry
out regular pool cleaning during the summer including dealing
with chemical treatments and plant repairs (we deal direct with
Italy’s largest supplier of pool products), and maintain
and protect your pool during the closed season.
Security Visits
All owners are justifiably concerned about the security and safety
of their property when they are not in residence. We are used
to carrying out regular visits out of season, opening up and inspecting
as required, contacting tradesmen to deal with emergencies, and
providing a key holding service to allow access by key utilities
and contractors.
Problems such as frozen pipe work, defective boilers, faulty guttering
and blocked fosse biologica’s are all too depressingly common.
We are available to take the responsibility and initiative to
provide an efficient emergency service.
Given the vast range and variety of properties
it is impossible for us to give precise quotations without visiting
the property. However, we are happy to talk to owners and give
them a guide price before an onsite inspection.
